Beata Bak from Miles City Community College has committed to play for the Lady Cats next year. Bak a power forward who is listed at any where from 6-0 to 6-2 (I believe 6-0 is closer to the truth) averaged 17 points 9 rebounds 2 steals a game, while shooting 48% from the field, 33% from three point and 71% from the line. Bak was named MonDak Women’s Basketball Conference MVP. She had five conference games where she finished with double-doubles, including a 30 point and 20 rebound outing against Bismarck State. Bak, who originally hails from Poland, Led MCCC to a 21-7 overall record and 11-3 in the Mon/Dak Conference record this season.

Bak who played all three front court positions at MCC should make an immediate impact for the lady Cat’s next season, giving Binford a quality player, who brings a great deal of experience to what will be a pretty young team.
